About this Project

The Impinyuza Bakery and Coffee Shop Project in Kayonza District will provide accessible vocational training directly to youth with disabilities in a semi-urban, agrarian community. By offering hands-on skills in bread making and coffee brewing within the neighborhood, the project aims at removing barriers related to distance, education, and transport. Using a social enterprise model, it will create immediate income earning opportunities, promote economic independence, and shift community perception of disability. The initiative will strengthen local livelihoods, foster inclusion, and build long-term resilience among marginalized youth and their families.
