Rugeyo Health Post renovation

About this Project

The project aims at renovating the Rugeyo health post in Murunda Sector which was constructed by the government of Rwanda through the Rutsiro district to serve a population of 8000+ people from Rugeyo and Twabugezi cells and cut travel time for residents from 10Kms to less than 2Kms which they have been travelling to access health services at Murunda Health Center.  The Health post is currently not operational due to lack of sanitation facilities, leaky roof, water access and lack of other essential facilities to provide health services. An investment from World Connect Rwanda will support local community members to renovate the facility, construct better sanitation facilities and connect the health post to running water so they can resume offering services to community members.
